The complete nomination list for the 4th Annual HiPipo Music Awards was recently released by HiPipo (U) Limited. The nominations were a comprehensive reflection of the Ugandan Music Industry 2015 performance, coming from over 30,000 nomination forms filled up by different music stakeholders including fans, media, and artistes. #HMA2016 will be held on Saturday 30th January, 2016 at Kampala Serena Hotel.
Under the theme, The Fans Decide, voting in 26 categories will kick off on 7th December and will go on until 30th January 2016. The voting will be done through SMS and Online platforms with a 70:30 contribution respectively. Two categories will be purely determined by a panel of Judges and thus will not require any public voting. These are: Life Time Achievement Award and Video Trailblazer Award.
