Nespresso Pixie Clips (£139)
As well as being a visually stunning coffee machine, the Nespresso Pixie Clips also makes a mean Espresso in record time. It’s a joy to look at, with a sleek minimalist design and an emphasis on bright colours; it’s also very customisable. The two panels on each side can be taken off and replaced with a wide choice of harmonious colours and striking patterns.
Using the machine was a simple process and required very little technical knowhow. The machine is a little loud whilst in use, which may wake you up before you’ve even started on your coffer, but we had no issues using it and found it to be one of the fastest coffee machines we’ve tried.
We were also lucky enough to try out the limited edition Christmas capsules, which included Ciocco Ginger, Vanilla Amaretti and Vanilla Cardamom. Our favourite flavour was Vanilla Cardamom, but all of the Christmas capsules bring a warm aroma to the kitchen and would be a joy for the whole family during the festive season.
You can also combine the Pixie Clips with the Aeroccino milk frother for a winning combination, which let’s you create all types of coffee. You can enjoy creamy frothed milk for lattes, or an airy milk foam for cappuccinos in seconds. If iced drinks are more up your alley, you can even froth cold milk.

Straighteners are a must have in any lady’s beauty armoury. This brand new set from Remington offers some very unique functions that make it stand out from the crowd. The PROtect straighteners utilise HydraCare technology, which releases a cooling mist to hydrate as it passes through the hair. This means that the straighteners can operate at lower temperatures (170C) than normal, therefore protecting the hair. The result is silky smooth hair and little long-term damage. This may just be the future of straighteners – we absolutely loved the results, a great buy. Plus, the build quality is high and they have a really robust feel.

This fantastic set includes 5 interchangeable sapphire coated tools for filing, shaping and cuticle care. We love the neat little box and how all of the items snugly tuck away. For under £15 the quality is pretty good too. The machine uses bi-drectional, two speed controls to allow for maximum precision. You will need a pair of AA batteries though, so don’t forget to pick them up before you buy! From Homedics.

The tagline is “intensely smooth”, but we have to suggest it also intensely delicious. We highly recommend Brockmans if the lady in your life loves gin, but needs a new tipple to get her teeth into. What could be more indulgent than a 24-karat gold facemask? Well, not much really! Avon’s Planet Spa Body Butters are the ideal stocking filler this Christmas. At only £8 for 200ml, Avon offers a range of three different scents.
