We are very excited to be visiting Lapland UK for the first time next weekend, it looks an incredible place to properly start our Christmas Celebrations.

Where is it?

Lapland UK is in Whitmoor Forest, Swinley Road, Ascot, Berkshire, SL5 8BD

What are the main features?

‘LaplandUK is an award winning Christmas family theatrical experience that recreates Father Christmas’ Arctic homeland to celebrate a child’s belief in Father Christmas.’

Our visit will last about 3.5 hours. Mummy has to book us all in on line before our visit, and give details about her children which means Father Christmas gives us a personalised meeting. (He will know a little bit about us).

Before the visit, I will be sent a personalised invitation from Father Christmas by post, inviting me to come to his woodland Toy Factory to help his busy elves finish making all the toys in time for Christmas.

On the day of my visit, I will be given an Elf Passport which will allow me to go into the elves’ secret woodland pathways to reach LaplandUK.  My family and I will enjoy over three hours of festive fun, helping the elves in the Toy Factory, decorating gingerbread with Mother Christmas, ice skating, meeting the huskies and reindeer, visiting the elves’ village and writing letters from the North Pole post office.  I can even visit the Elf Bank to exchange pounds into Elf currency, the Elf Jingle!

The highlight of my day is of course, my exciting, magical meeting with Father Christmas in his woodland home, where I will receive a gorgeous gift as a reminder of this fantastic experience. I cannot wait!

How can I get there?

Ascot train station is one mile away, and there is free parking at Lapland UK.
How much is it?

Each ticket costs from £45 – £89.50 plus booking fee, depending when you visit. Children’s tickets are from 12 months old to 16 years and are the same price as the adult ticket.

How long is it?

The magical experience is around three and a half hours long. It is best to arrive half an hour before your time slot, and check in 15 minutes before.

We are so super excited to be visiting Lapland UK, it looks and sounds absolutely incredible. Please visit their website for full information – everything you need to know is in the Frequently Asked Questions in the ‘Plan your Visit’ on the home page.

Make sure you pop back to read our review, and how we got on at LaplandUK. Have you ever been?
