NeoCon 2015, which takes place June 15 to 17 at The Merchandise Mart in Chicago, is just around the corner. Over the past few weeks, the editors of Contract magazine have been working hard to put together Contract’s May and June issues, both of which include a detailed preview of NeoCon.
The May issue includes the new and improved 2015 Official NeoCon Product Preview, which highlights keynotes, the Best of NeoCon competition, events, product coverage, Chicago designers’ favorite places, Chicago art highlights, and a full exhibitor list.
The annual Best of NeoCon competition, which honors new products that are exhibited at the Mart, will once again be held during the show. This year we had nearly 400 product entries, which can be viewed at contract-network.com. A jury comprised of industry professionals will judge these products June 11–13 and choose category winners as well as a Best of Competition winner. Contract editors will also take part in the judging process by selecting the Editors’ Choice awards winners.
The winners will be first announced at the Best of NeoCon Awards Breakfast, held at 7:30 a.m. Monday, June 15, at the Renaissance Hotel. The Winners Guide will also be available to the public Monday morning and will be located in various locations throughout the Mart. You can purchase tickets here contract-network.com.
On Sunday, June 14, at 4 p.m., Contract will present its annual Inspirations Awards at a reception in the Tandus Centiva showroom, #391. The Inspirations Awards celebrate leadership in socially responsible design among commercial interior designers and architects. The winners are honored for work designed for a worthy cause, and the clients receive a grant from Tandus Centiva, the awards sponsor.
