The 15th annual Jeonju International Film Festival will be held May 1-10. The Jeonju fest is known for showcasing more adventurous indie fare than the Busan International Film Festival, although last year’s programming choices reportedly sparked some grumbling among the judges.
JIFF has revamped the format of its signature Jeonju Digital Project program for 2014, shifting the focus from short films to feature-length works. The festival’s Korean film competition will feature 11 entries, including three documentaries.
