The Finnish company Nokia could present next month a new smartphone with Android operating system. Until now it was thought that this terminal Nokia Normandy would be called, but recent rumors have just revealed that the official name of this phone will probably be of Nokia X. recall that it is a really unusual presentation since it would be the first Smartphone of this company to incorporate Google’s operating system. So far Nokia phones running under the operating system Windows Phone.
Now, for now we are only faced a number of rumors that point to the possibility that Nokia will present its new Nokia X in the MWC (Mobile World Congress) event held in Barcelona between the 24th and 27th of February. The Finnish company at no time has confirmed this information. Beyond leaks that have been produced over the past few months, the truth is that there are reasons to think that finally, this phone can be kept in the drawer of the discarded ideas of Nokia.
Even so, assuming the X Nokia a reality, it would result in a Smartphone that would run under the operating system of Google but which would also include a layer of customization of Nokia. This is to say that even though the phone had the Android operating system, most likely the appearance of its interface remarkably similar to the current appearance of Windows Phone. In fact, the British newspaper TechRadar uploaded a video where you can see how would be the appearance of the interface of Nokia X.
On the other hand, a few weeks ago also leaked photographs in which you could see appearance that would have this Nokia Android phone. The design of the Nokia X would be very similar to the other terminals in the company such as Nokia Lumia 520. Likewise, a difference the Lumia 520 and many other mobile of the Finnish company, Nokia X would only have a single button integrated in the lower part of the screen.
The specifications which are known about this terminal point to a phone of low range, that would incorporate a four inch screen with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. Processor chosen for Nokia X would be a Qualcomm 200 quad-core that would be accompanied by a RAM of 512 MegaBytes. Internal storage would have a capacity of 4 GigaBytes of expandable via microSD card, and the camera would have five megapixels.
As you can see, the Nokia X would be a mobile with very limited specifications. Perhaps Nokia does not want to risk too much in its bid for Android and so prefers to walk with feet of lead entering this operating system on their mobiles.
