According to a survey by Grappetite (a mobile development firm), Android phones are the most popular phones in Pakistan (68%) with Samsung as the leader. Interestingly, 60% of the people use more than one cell phone and 35% of the smartphone users carry a low-cost phone for safety reasons.

It seems that most of the Pakistanis are cost effective. They prefer to get phones which provide good value for the price while a niche market goes for the popular brands. It is no wonder that the 5 best-selling phones in 2015 are a mix of high end and low end phones of different brands. An interesting factor is the popularity of dual-sim phones.
