UPSC has released examination calendar for civil services 2017. Civil services preliminary examination 2017 is going to be held in the month of June 2017 and and civil services main examination 2017 will be held in the month of October. Wide range of changes have been made in the examination calendar of 2017 as compared to recent past years.
Notification of UPSC Prelims (Civil Services ) Exam – 22 February 2017
Last Date for receipt of Applications – 17 March 2017
Date of Preliminary Exam – 18 June 2017
Civil Services (Main) Exam, 2017 – 28 October, 2017 (5 days)
Last year, prelims was held in the month of August but this year, it is going to be held in the month of June only. This will leave less time for Prelims Examination. Candidates will have to get prepared early for Prelims than last year.
