The International Academic Forum is currently looking for volunteers to assist at several upcoming international conferences to be held in Kobe, Japan. Volunteers at IAFOR conferences are able to practice their English language skills, meet delegates and academics from around the world, and experience truly international academic events. Volunteers responsibilities include greeting participants, helping with registration, guiding participants to meeting rooms as needed, and answering basic questions about Kobe / Osaka / Kyoto and Japanese culture. Those able to volunteer 20 hours or more will receive an official certificate stating completion of the IAFOR Volunteer Programme.
All volunteers will be asked to take a short interview via Skype or video chat before confirming your volunteer time.
We are requesting volunteers arrive 15 minutes prior to the scheduled time.
We are requesting assistance for up to 4 hours, but if you wish to stay longer you can volunteer for an entire day.
Volunteers will be given ¥3000 per day for travel expenses and lunch.
Volunteers are welcome to enjoy coffee and snacks served freely during the refreshment periods.
