i hate when ur in public somewhere and something goes mildly wrong/something inconvenient happens and the nearest baby boomer tries to get you to complain with them
what does this even mean
EXAMPLE:
you are in line at mcdonalds. its really busy and the employees are overwhelmed. it’s taking a long time. you are minding your own business. the old man in line next to you says to you, “boy, this is absolutely ridiculous, isn’t it? these kids working just dont know what they’re doing. Or they just dont care…” you awkwardly nod and take a step to the side
this happens all the fucking time and i always do my best to look at them like they are fucking morons and reply as disdainfully as possible because half the time i have personally experienced the same situation they’re complaining about
I was shopping with my grandma on tax free weekend and the check out line was insane. You could tell the girls checking people out were overwhelmed and handling things to the best of their ability.
When we got up there my grandma threw down her pile of coupons with an attitude like any other middle aged/old white woman would do and I just saw the look of “please save me” fall across the face of the girl checking us out.
She tried to politely explain that you can only use one coupon per transaction and told my grandma that, because they were so busy, they weren’t allowed to do more than two transactions at a time and that she’d have to get back in line if she wanted to do more. My grandma FLIPPED SHIT. She got this pissy ass attitude and was getting super snappy with the girl and refused to leave till she did her 50 billion transactions.
Then after we left, my grandma turned to me and started that whole, “I didn’t like that girls attitude, she was just lazy and didn’t want to do more than one transaction, this generation is so ungrateful and lazy…” bullshit.
Honestly fuck baby boomers. Fuck their sense of entitlement. Fuck their condescending view of anyone younger than them. Fuck this shit. And bless the poor workers who have to put up with their miserable bitching. Yall deserve better.
