So, I have been "Binge Reading/Listening" to the Dark Tower series over the past month and a half. I recently asked my wife if she had time to "palaver". The thing is, the first time I ever heard/read the word that I can remember was in the series. I had to go look it up. The meaning in Roland's where/when is different that the meaning in our current english. But, its probably my most favorite new word and I am constantly stoping myself from using it, since no one would have any idea what I'm talking about. Another example is "Cully". Again the meaning in the books it totally different. Its slang for roughly jerk/jackass. As in, "Ok cully, I'd like to see you try it!" There are so many other examples such as thankee or sai. Nevertheless, I am super tempted to start introducing the midworld version of these words into our family lexicon.

That's it. I just wanted to share that. Maybe someone out there can relate.
