TGIF.

Honestly, this week has been such a blur. I didn’t realize it was Friday until, like, 5 seconds ago.

Today is all about detoxing ( with my activated charcoal/detox water ) from yesterday’s daytime binge. This isn’t the norm for me, but it’s a special weekend here in Fort Worth.

This week/weekend is the annual golf tournament in my city, which involves seeing tons of people I kinda forgot existed, drinking lots of prosecco, & attempting to look put together/like the kind of person who would watch golf regularly.

It’s a challenge.

& I lost yesterday/I’m dying rn. Slowly-but-surely gaining my self-respect back, though. Lolz.

Anywho. On to more important topics.

I posted my nighttime wellness routine to snapchat a few nights ago, & I had an overwhelming number of y’all ask for a full post on it! So, here ya go.

Ask & you shall receive.

This routine changes every so often, & I add or delete a few steps depending on how lazy I am or how much time I have.

Make sure you’re following on snap ( PAYTON_SARTAIN ) for more mini tutorials like this & to see my updated routine when I change it up!

Shower Picks

Shampoo & Conditioner: I’m really loving the Matrix Oil Wonders Volume Rose Shampoo & Conditioner for fine hair. It’s ultra-hydrating while also adding some volume, which is a tricky formula combination to master.

Body Scrub: After I wash my bod with a simple soap bar, I occasionally use a body scrub to remove any dead skin & keep my skin soft. My favorite scrub at the moment is this Enlite Flawless Body Hot Rock Revival scrub. The grains are super fine & it has this peppermint-feel cooling effect after you use it…. I’m obsessed. The whole Enlite line is sold exclusively at CVS!

Face Scrub: A few times a week, I use a gentle face exfoliant to detox/clean/smooth my skin. I have relatively sensitive skin, so I like this DermaE Purifying Daily Detox Scrub ( it has activated charcoal in it!! ). This scrub also has a skin-cooling effect when it’s washed off, so it leaves me feeling clean/like I just left the spa.

After-Shower Skincare

Moisturize with Oil: Right after I get out of the shower, I lightly towel dry & apply coconut oil all over my body while my skin is still a little damp. The moisture locks in better this way. Sometimes, I’ll use Argan or Jojoba oil in lieu of coconut oil. I received this Kopari Coconut Sheer Oil in a blogger gift bag not too long ago, & I’m a fan of how light/sheer ( obviously ) this oil is.

Face Spray or Toner: I’m in luuuurve with refreshing facial spray lately. I keep a smaller container of this Enlite Super Face Anytime Beauty Refresher ( or just regular Rose Water ) in my purse to refresh my face throughout the day as well. This spray, in particular, is made with Coconut water, Eucalyptus Oil, Peppermint Oil, & a number of natural extracts. Like the scrub, it leaves my face feeling minty fresh & ultra-clean. Sold exclusively at CVS!

Spot Eraser: Because I’m not always the best with my sunscreen application, I have a few dark spots on my face that have GOT to GO. After my facial spray soaks in, I apply this easy-to-use Enlite Super Face Spot Eraser. I haven’t been using this long enough to see dramatic results, so the verdict on this one has yet to be determined. I’ll keep y’all updated! As with all of the Enlite products, this spot eraser is found at CVS!

Acne Treatment: I’m all for a natural acne treatment, & Tea Tree oil is infamous for getting rid of that-time-of-the-month acne. If you have deeper, cystic acne ( like I had forever… misery ), Tea Tree oil won’t do much for ya, unfortunately. BUT– if you have normal person acne, then use this stuff to treat it! I put a little of this DermaE Tea Tree & Vitamin E oil on a Q-tip & spot treat any pimples I have.

Moisturize Face & Eyes: I didn’t take a photo of my current face moisturizer, but I use the Pond’s Moisturizing Cream ( white container with a blue lid ) mixed with a few drops of water or oil of choice to thin it out. I also moisturize around my eyes with L’Oreal Eye Defense to prevent signs of aging!

Mouth Health

Brush Teeth: I don’t think this one really needs much explaining, lolz. I don’t have a go-to type of toothbrush or toothpaste. I just use whatever I happen to have. I try to remember to floss afterward, but we all know how that usually goes down.

Tongue Cleaning: you can read more about the benefits of cleaning your tongue here. Basically, it just makes my mouth feel much cleaner/more sanitary when I use this tongue cleaner after brushing.

Mouthwash: Like with my teeth-brushing, I don’t have a go-to mouthwash that I’m loyal to. If any of you have a ride-or-die mouthwash/toothpaste/tooth brush situations, lemme know!

Exfoliate & Moisturize Lips: IDK about y’all, but my lips are basically the largest thing on my face, lolz, so I have to keep them looking fre$h. I talk about lip exfoliation for lipstick application prep in this post, & I do the same exfoliation routine before bed as well. Lightly brush lips with a toothbrush to remove any dead skin & to keep lips looking smooth. Then, moisturize with lip balm. My favorite lip balm rn is Vaseline Lip Therapy in Aloe.

Lastly, I usually braid my hair and secure with one of these no-break hair ties to keep my hair out of my face while I sleep.

I don’t need any oils from my hair causing miserable breakouts! No thanks, no thanks. None for me, please.

As always, if y’all have tried any products that you just LOVE LOVE LOVE, please feel free to snap me pictures & such! I love when y’all recommend things to me because I feel like we’re all on the same page here. All of y’alls’ recs are killer.

If you like this kind of stuff, make sure you’re following me on snapchat! I occasionally do little tutorials, share new/favorite products, take y’all through step-by-step healthy recipes, and share numerous clothing hauls via snap… so let’s be friends.

Talk soon, beebs!
