Hunters, one of the country’s leading estate agents, is delighted to welcome Kudos Residential to its fast expanding network. On Monday 15th June Norfolk’s leading sales and lettings agency, Kudos Residential is joining Hunters and throughout the week will be rebranding its seven branches across the county, including the main towns and cities of Norwich and Great Yarmouth. This is new territory for Hunters and brings the number of independently owned branches to over 150 nationwide.

Hunters is one of the major players on the national property scene having opened its first branch 22 years ago in York. The network is mainly franchised and now has branches nationwide in key cities across the UK including London, Exeter, Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester, Middlesbrough and Liverpool and many locations in between. Hunters also has an office in Alicante, Spain. In 2014 alone, the Hunters network grew by 37 new locations with the aim of expanding to over 500 offices in five years’ time.

Glynis Frew, Managing Director of Hunters Property Group, said: “This is another exciting milestone for Hunters. As we continue to widen our reach, we are delighted to have Kudos Residential on-board and look forward to what promises to be a very successful future working together under the Hunters umbrella. This compliments our branch opening in Bungay, Suffolk in October 2014 – which saw us break into the East Anglian market for the very first time.”

Since it was founded in 2009 with one office in Brundall, Kudos Residential has grown to become one of Norfolk’s largest estate agents covering Norwich and the surrounding villages, across to the East Coast. The seven-strong network encompasses offices in: Norwich, Hellesdon, Brundall, Poringland, Long Stratton, Great Yarmouth and Gorleston.

Chris Starkings, Director of Kudos Residential, said: “Through the opening of new offices and the acquisition of other local estate agents, we have grown organically to become Norfolk’s largest independent agent; with customer service at our heart. It is unusual to see a business of Hunters size, which is so service driven and we wanted to partner with someone who had the same values as ourselves. The national network that Hunters offers is of huge benefit to our local offices – particularly the reach it has in London. A lot of our customers are moving from London cashing in and buying up at the Norfolk coast or Broads area. We will remain independent and 100% locally owned, but our clients will now benefit from being part of an established brand with a national marketing campaign.”

Kudos Residential will join Hunters officially on 15 June.
