Autumn is said to be the best time to purchase a new car. New car models typically hit the showroom floor in mid to late September and dealers have to make room for the new models and will offer flexible pricing and incentives on the current year's models. Furthermore, with interest rates being at historical lows, consumers don't have to limit their end-of-the-year car purchases to current year models when looking for a good deal. Car manufacturers and dealers know that today's savvy consumer can locate the best car deal before even stepping foot on a car lot. Therefore, the car-buying experience has to offer more than a discounted price to attract consumers.

Enter Scion's Pure Process+, an online car buying process. Toyota Motors, the parent company of Scion, is taking the car-buying process to the next level with this year's Scion expansion with the release of the 2016 Scion iM and the 2016 Scion iA, and the extension of their Pure Process program to Pure Process+. The 2016 Scion iM, a versatile hatchback is designed to handle adventure and the Scion iA -- the first sedan to be released by the Scion brand -- is agile and sporty. Scion recognizes that their target market are consumers looking to stand apart from the crowd. They're attempting to meet these consumers by offering unique products and processes that allow them to engage with potential customers in meaningful and creative ways.

Pure Process+ offers car buyers a no-haggle buying experience. Car buyers can secure an auto loan online from Toyota and get pricing information including trade-in value via KBB.com that will allow them to make an informed decision. Finally, Pure Process+ reduces the time that consumers spend in dealerships and some cases eliminates the need to go to a car dealership by delivering the car to the car buyer's door.

Pure Process+ is unlike Tesla Motors' car-buying experience in that it's not seeking to eliminate car dealerships but to offer a streamlined car-buying process for consumers and car dealerships. Pure Process+ is currently available in approximately 60 dealerships and selected states. Scion expects that all 1,000 dealerships in the Scion family will join the program by the second half of 2016.

This autumn, car buyers have the option of taking advantage of current year deals, low-interest rates and for those buying a Scion they have the ability to purchase their new car from the comfort of their couch.
