A 19th-century Persian light hangs in the Green Bedroom of a Marrakech house that belonged to the late Chilean artist Claudio Bravo; the bedspread is Gujarati mirror-work embroidery, the chest is 19th-century Moroccan, and the desk and chair are embellished with bone inlay. Sardar Design Studio renovated the residence.

At Easton Neston, a 1702 house in Northamptonshire, England, the German Bedroom is named for the origin of its furnishings. The room includes an 18th-century marquetry bed, a gilt-wood mirror, and a circa-1800 cylinder desk. The residence was restored by homeowner Leon Max along with Ptolemy Dean Architects and Spencer-Churchill Designs.
