Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston have made their social media debut, in a low-key, natural photo, taken at the ‘1989’ singer’s 4th of July party.

Have a look at the lovely snap below:

Oh, sorry, did we say it looked totally natural? Our mistake.

The picture was posted on Instagram by Tay’s BFF Britany Maack, who is sat with her husband on the right hand side, while Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively occupy the middle seat.

Can we take a second to appreciate Ryan’s facial expression, please?

Dude, we feel your pain.

Now, we are sorry for being cynical, but something about this new romance just doesn’t sit quite right.

First of all, there were the paparazzi shots of the duo on the beach, which were - to say the least - awkward and uncomfortable looking.

Then there was their trip to meet Tom’s mum, and a romantic trip to Italy, all captured on camera by the same paparazzi.

And now this? Sorry, Hiddleswift, we’re not buying it, and we aren’t the only ones:

(How much longer do we have to wait for Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston to reveal their relationship is a hoax??)

Becoming increasingly convinced that Tom Hiddleston and Taylor Swift are pulling a Joaquin Phoenix I'm Still Here style prank on us.

Taylor and Tom have held hands more in these 2 weeks than I held me mums crossing the road my entire youth

Another person who hasn’t been too happy is Taylor’s ex Calvin Harris.

The couple split up just weeks before the ‘Shake It Off’ singer began romancing Tom, and he immediately took to Twitter to share, and then delete, his views.
