SCHODACK – Following a vehicle and traffic stop for multiple traffic violations on I-90, New York State Police recently arrested a Putnam County man for allegedly possessing more than two pounds of marijuana, according to authorities.

Police identified the driver of the vehicle as Michael S. Capezzuto, age 28, of Brewster.

He was taken into custody, transported and processed at SP Albany, where he was charged with Criminal Possession of Marijuana in the 2nd Degree; a Class D Felony, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana; a Violation, Multiple Vehicle and Traffic Violations.

Capezzuto was arraigned before the Town of Schodack Court and remanded to the Rensselaer County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or bond.
