Elected officials to meet and discuss Hudson Valley issues over Pattern for Progress breakfast.

Tuesday, February 28 | 7:45 am – 9:30 am

The Hudson Valley Pattern for Progress County Leaders Breakfast will be held on Tuesday, February 28th from 7:45-9:30 AM at 40 Civic Center Plaza in Poughkeepsie.

Orange County Executive Steven Neuhaus

This unique event at the Poughkeepsie Grand Hotel is a panel discussion featuring the leaders of four counties: Dutchess County Executive Marcus Molinaro, Orange County Executive Steven Neuhaus, Sullivan County Legislative Chairman Luis Alvarez, and Ulster County Executive Michael Hein. No other organization brings together as many local leaders to discuss issues from a broad geographic perspective.

According to Pattern President and CEO Jonathan Drapkin, “At Pattern For Progress, we’re focused on giving the big perspective of how our region is moving forward together. Despite the far-flung geography of the region, these county leaders confront common issues, from housing to transportation to public safety–and most importantly, how to stretch and reshape budgets to ensure efficient use of tax dollars.”

Featuring two Democrats and two Republicans, the breakfast will offer a bipartisan take on the questions that elected officials are grappling with at this watershed moment in the valley’s history.

Pattern for Progress values the valley’s input. Any questions may be emailed to Senior Vice President for Strategic Planning and Engagement Stuart Shiske at sshinske@pfprogress.org. The audience also can pose questions at the breakfast or via Facebook and Twitter.
