Agaricus campestris, the meadow mushroom. Recognizable by it’s pink gills, turning brown with age, and it’s highly pleasant smell and taste. Closely related to the common button mushroom, Agaricus bisporus, it is edible and choice. They are commonly found in meadows, fields, and (like these two here) lawns. A word of caution though, make sure they are not infested with larvae before you decide to eat them.
