I was building this truck to be a bulletproof and reliable race truck. I purchased many of the necessary upgrades available to replace the parts that were found to be weak spots and to provide better performance. Some parts have already been installed and many are still in the packages.
I installed some different graphics on the body to make it stand out. Any decals that are not wanted can easily be removed. I also added a custom lexan panel on the back of the cage that can be flipped up to access the body clips and other things inside the body. The diff fluids are 5k-10k-3k and all of the shocks have 30w fluid. I also smoothed out the shock pistons to keep them from damaging the inside of the shock body.
One of the most noticeable shortcomings of the Losi 5ive-T is it's underpowered stock 2-bolt 26cc CY engine. I have upgraded the engine to an O'neill Brothers Racing 30.5 Pro-stock 4-bolt Zenoah. I spoke to the boys at OBR and had them tweak the motor specifically for use in this truck. This will give the truck the power and reliability it needs....
