A new 15-month study, in collaboration with Skidmore College, concluded in November 2014. The initial results yield incredible scientific validation for the Isagenix system—both for weight loss, as well as for long-term weight maintenance. And now, you can share the initial findings with this flyer!

Isagenix Chief Science Officer Dr. Suk Cho, says, “We know if you can maintain healthy weight loss, you can also stave off chronic diseases associated with being overweight and obese like cardiovascular disease. We also know that most people who diet don’t keep the weight off long term. But we believed that Isagenix products could help people lose weight and keep it off long term, that’s why we invested in this unprecedented 15-month study.”

Full results from the study won’t be available until lead researcher Dr. Paul Arciero of Skidmore College has published his findings in a peer-reviewed journal. But, you can review—and share—the initial conclusions right now.

For phase one—which was 11 weeks—all of the subjects used the Isagenix system to help them achieve significant weight loss. All subjects followed the Isagenix 30-Day System, including two meal replacements and a 400–600 calorie meal, with additional IsaLean® Bars and Ageless Essentials™ Daily Pack supplements.

Phase two—which was 12 months—split the group in two. Study participants either continued to use Isagenix or transitioned to a dietitian-monitored heart-healthy diet to measure maintenance. Participants who used Isagenix moved to a maintenance diet, suitable for everyday life, which included one meal replacement a day and one to four cleanse days per month.

Phase two results indicate that participants who used Isagenix during the maintenance phase maintained their weight loss, fat loss, and visceral fat loss while heart-healthy participants rebounded. Isagenix maintenance participants also increased their lean muscle mass during the maintenance phase while heart-healthy participants lost lean muscle mass.
