Provide ongoing service to inforce customers and brokers in Local and Regional Market to enhance relationship with MetLife in an effort to expand book of business. Take active role in the strategic account planning and second sales marketing strategy, making recommendations to Sales and Brokers directly, participate in meetings with clients and brokers, including finalist presentations. Other activities include: coordinating resources and deliverables from various departments within company, oversee customer issue resolution (and in some cases resolve customer issues on own- “Once and Done”), second sale analysis/presentations and processing. This role may arrange and participate in enrollment meetings/benefit fairs and/or coordinate necessary resources. Partner with Sales and Field Service partners to make recommendations for sales opportunities and to improve second sales results. Acts as mentor to and helps develop members of team, particularly from a Voluntary product knowledge perspective. Participate in and/or lead special projects.
JOB SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare for and attend face to face meetings as well as host regular calls with key partners including Sales and Field Service counterparts, as well as with inforce customers and brokers in order to strengthen business relationships, proactively identify issues and to research opportunities to improve second sale results.
Provide support across Local and Regional Marke
Partner with Market Specialists to assist in development of training material, and play a critical role in training peers on Voluntary products and processes.
Prepare for and participate in finalist meetings in partnership with sales and account management.
Prepare for and participate in strategic broker and renewal meetings.
Aid Sales and Field Service partners in preparing second sale marketing plans. Partner with Marketing to identify the most successful communication and marketing approaches to impact participation results.
Perform maintenance and follow up activities resulting from the collection and analysis of regional participation and second sale approach results.
Obtain working knowledge of the full MetLife product portfolio and establish partnerships with internal product business partners as appropriate
Maintain and update complete and accurate customer, prospect and broker data (information may include contact information, booklets, renewals, etc.)
Active involvement in select new case implementations, and management of customer expectations particularly as it relates to second sale approach.
Own the role as regional expert on Voluntary processes and systems. Provide team or customer consultation and demonstrations as appropriate.
May participate in enrollment meetings and benefit fairs for certain customers.
Participate in resolution of customer and broker service escalations to a satisfactory completion.

Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
