Eloise Nichols Grills & Liquor and Relish Restaurant & Bar are on the way

The lead-up to Houston’s big gig as the hosts of next year’s Super Bowl LI has brought an incredible influx of brand new restaurants that shows no sign of slowing down. Just in case you needed more proof of Houston’s restaurant boom, two brand-new, highly anticipated restaurant concepts will debut next month.

First up is Eloise Nichols Grill & Liquor. The brand new concept from the minds behind Adair’s Kitchen was expected to land earlier this summer, but now the Houston Chronicle reports that it will kick open the doors on September 19. The self-described “neighborhood American bistro” will serve a menu of Southern dishes (think deviled eggs and Texas caviar) made with locally-grown produce and Gulf seafood.

Also arriving next month is Relish Restaurant Kitchen & Bar. Earlier this month, Relish Fine Foods closed its doors to make way for the new concept, which will land at 2810 Westheimer in River Oaks. No official opening date has been set for the newly-revamped concept, but diners can look for it to open in “early September.”

As always, your friendly Eater Houston staff will keep you apprised of any updates.
