Oxford police investigated Six motor vehicle collisions, 22 traffic citations and made arrests on the following charge:
Expired Tag, Possession of Marijuana in a Motor Vehicle and DUI
Careless Driving, No Driving License and DUI
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: Two accidents, alarm, two animal complaints, attempted residential burglary, petit larceny, three service calls, three suspicious activities, two welfare concerns, scam, trespassing, civil matter.
Lafayette Sheriff’s department made the following arrests.

Oxford Fire Department responded to the following calls:
A strong smell of bleach and cleaning chemicals activated the smoke detector at Conner Hall room 311A storage.
working on the phone lines activated the general fire alarm at the Country Club of Oxford.
A fire on the patio area (don’t have details yet) at Fat Eddie’s Lamar Lounge.
