Our client is currently seeking to recruit an ICT Manager who will be responsible for planning, directing and coordinating ICT-related activities, as well as ensuring implementation of well coordinated systems in the organization.Responsibilities
Responsible for formulation of the ICT Policy and implementation of the same.
Manages all the companies’ software, hardware and other IT equipment at all levels.
Responsible for managing and coordinating all the ICT functions and staff.
Responsible for enhancements of existing systems or implementation of new systems.
Initiates and implements improvements in all areas of IT responsibility in line with latest information technology trends.
Ensure user support experience through helpdesk administration.
Update regularly the company’s website and ensure that it is interactive as possible.
Oversees the administration and maintenance of the company’s infrastructure, and ensures that the company’s LAN and WAN is operational all the time
Ensure the entire ICT security is guaranteed at all times from both internal and external intrusion;
Employ the best practice standards in data storage and disaster recovery procedures
Trains all end users on the use of ICT systems and equipment through both formal and informal training programs.
Relays relevant IT-related information to the company in a timely manner.
Oversees the administrative function of the ICT department while at the same time challenges others to develop as leaders while serving as a role model and mentor.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline and a member of an ICT Professional Body.
6+ years’ working experience in a busy ICT environment with exposure in hardware, software and network applications
At least 3 years experience in management and providing leadership to people
Experience with Database Management Systems is necessary
Good programming skills (VB, Net, Java, Web Scripting-PHP, Java Script, etc.)
Strong communication including interpersonal skills
