Fans can get a coupon on the 7-Eleven app to try out the new Slurpee for free.
Back in mid-March, beverage maker Sprite and Miami Heat superstar LeBron James worked on a first-ever collaboration called the Sprite 6 Mix, a refreshing version of the lemon-lime soda with cherry and citrus flavors carefully chosen by the King himself.
Now the popular flavor will also mark the first time an athlete will be getting his own Slurpee, available immediately at your nearest fine 7-Eleven convenience store.
"Similar to the sparkling beverage, Sprite 6 Mix by LeBron James Slurpee combines the refreshing taste of Sprite with natural cherry and orange flavors, one of LeBron's favorite flavor combinations," notes the official press release. "The flavor of the frozen treat was co-developed by LeBron, and the Sprite 6 Mix by LeBron James Slurpee is the first Slurpee to tout a major professional athlete's name."
Customers who download the free 7-Eleven mobile app for the iPhone or Android can receive a coupon for a free small Sprite 6 Mix by LeBron James Slurpee. Beginning June 9, the coupon will be available through the savings section of the 7-Eleven app and is valid while supplies last.
