The Miami Heat are again all about being White Hot in the playoffs for the third year in a row and so starting with tomorrow's game against the Chicago Bulls the defending champs will be starting up their massive drive to fire up fans all over South Florida. The team will host community events, activities, and more for each day leading up to the start of the 2013 NBA Playoffs. HEAT fans are encouraged to wear white for watching every one of Miami's playoff games - whether you're at the arena, local pub or sitting at home on the sofa - in order to create "the most intense White Hot home court advantage in the NBA".
Presented by Miccosukee Resort & Gaming, White Hot HEAT Week will kick off on Sunday, April 14 with the official launch of their special new site www.WhiteHotHEAT.com which promises to be a source of endless information on White Hot: The 2013 HEAT Playoffs including team news, promotional information, playoff wallpapers, photo galleries, video galleries and much more.

White Hot HEAT Playoffs Car Decal Event Presented by Metro Signs, Inc.
HEAT fans are invited to stop by the AmericanAirlines Arena from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 16 to help tip off White Hot: The 2013 HEAT Playoffs by hooking their rides up with a FREE White Hot window decal presented by Metro Signs, Inc. AM 790 / 104.3 FM The Ticket will broadcast live during the event. In addition, Burnie, the HEAT Dancers and the Xtreme Team will be distributing free White Hot HEAT Fan Kits and Mountain Dew Kickstart to fans as they get their rides ready for the playoffs. The window decal is visible from the outside of the car, but still allows the driver to see through the graphic when driving. The decals take minutes to install and will be placed on the car window by the professionals at Metro Signs, Inc.

HEAT fans can start their playoff partying early by joining the HEAT Experience for a White Hot HEAT Happy Hour presented by Miller Lite and hosted at Brother Jimmy's in Mary Brickell Village from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 19. The HEAT Dancers, Burnie, and the Xtreme Team will mingle with HEAT fans while in-arena emcee Dale will host the festivities. HEAT fans can enjoy Miller Lite drink specials and Miller Lite promotional items. Brother Jimmy's is located at 900 S. Miami Avenue in Mary Brickell Village. White Hot HEAT Basketball Hoop Countdown Presented by American Airlines
Outside the main entrance of the Arena, 16 basketball hoops will be wrapped in white representing a countdown of the games needed to win the 2013 NBA Championship. The morning following a playoff win, one White Hot Hoop will be removed and taken to an undisclosed location. HEAT fans will have to stay tuned to the team's social media channels (@MiamiHEAT, Facebook.com/MiamiHEAT) to receive clues as to the hoop's location. Fans will be encouraged to find the White Hot HEAT Hoop, take a photo with it and submit to the HEAT using the hashtag #WhiteHotHEATFan. One winner (per hoop) will be randomly selected to win 25,000 AAdvantage Miles courtesy of American Airlines and will be highlighted on the team's social media channels.

White Hot Broadcast Details
HEAT broadcast partner Sun Sports will air all first round playoff games made available for local team broadcast. Home and road telecasts will begin with a special half hour edition of HEAT Live, the pre-game show hosted by Jorge Sedano and John Crotty live from the Sun Sports studios in Fort Lauderdale. Each telecast will also feature extended post-game coverage live from site. Eric Reid will handle play-by-play duties, with Tony Fiorentino providing color commentary and analysis. Jason Jackson will reprise his role as HEAT Television Host and Courtside Reporter.
WAXY AM 790 The Ticket will continue its English broadcast of HEAT games throughout the playoffs. The games will also be simulcast on FM 104.3 The Ticket on dates where the Miami Marlins are not playing at the same time. The Ticket will carry all HEAT Playoff games and will have expanded HEAT Playoff coverage featuring HEAT play-by-play announcer Mike Inglis, and color commentator John Crotty. HEAT radio host Tommy Tighe will host a half-hour pre-game show that can be heard on the HEAT radio network, which includes ESPN 760 and FM 106.3 in West Palm Beach and ESPN 770 and FM 96.1 in Naples/Ft. Myers. Tighe will also co-host a local pre-game show and extended postgame show with Jonathan Zaslow on AM 790 / 104.3 FM The Ticket.
All HEAT Playoff games can be heard in Español on Univision Radio's Mix 98.3 FM. José Pañeda will handle the play-by- play duties, with Joe Pujala serving as host/color commentator.
