Stephen Collins is battling many different allegations.
At the moment, Stephen Collins is not doing so hot. The press is all over the stories that have been thrown around for quite some time now. So many people have questions, and so many people are upset with what exactly happened. However, this story has two parts since new information has recently become available on the 7th Heaven actor.
Child Molestation Charges
These charges were put out there and now Collins is facing a bit world of bad stuff ahead of him. Not only was he in a therapist session with his now ex-wife during which he admitted to molesting three, not one, but three little girls that were 11, 12 and 13 at the time. He would give their first names, but were unsure of their last names. He states that they were neighbors and that he knew their parents and such.
This came as a blow for many of those out there that watched the show that turned everyone’s hearts inside and out and back again. Why could he have done this? What exactly is going on? During the therapy sessions that the two were going through two years back, his wife taped the sessions. These sessions were later given away to the police and anyone else that wanted to hear the details of what went on. This was not an illegal act, since in the state of California, you’re able to record anything to uncover any violent crimes that may have been committed at the time.
Fake Suicide Call
Just recently, there was a suicide call that was sent to the police from the Collins residence. However, when the police responded to the call, Collins was not home and he was out doing things and was well. This came as a surprise to the police officers that responded to the call and are unsure of why it came through in the first place.
Collins has been working on the set of Ted2 for quite some time now, but since the allegations of child molestation have been brought up against him, the movie dropped him. They didn’t want to get involved in that sort of behavior and wanted to make sure that they were not employing someone that may or may not be in trouble with the law. Him and his wife are currently still in battle with discussing the details of the divorce, after been married for 27 years, and are currently trying to work everything out in a civilized manner. The tapes were handed over years ago to the police, but they dropped the charges – but have since went back to the case to dig a little bit further.
