Under general supervision, operates and maintains monitoring equipment in the operating rooms. Assists the anesthesiologists and surgeons with the implementation of monitoring lines and devices. Maintains anesthesia machines and related equipment. Responsibilities include the requirement to be "on-call" when assigned.
Basic Qualifications (REQUIRED): High School diploma or equivalent.Training on cell salvage technique, Intraaortic Balloon Pump (IABP), hemodynamic monitoring and anesthesia machines..
This is not a Cath Lab position. This position provides peri-opertive technical support to the anesthesia professional staff for delivery of patient care.
Minimum Qualifications (REQUIRED):One year related OR experience. Technical proficiency in all aspects of patient monitoring to include anesthesia machines and ancillary equipment. Must be able to speak, read and follow directions in English.
Preferred Qualifications:Graduate of cardiopulmonary technology or anesthesia technician program preferred.
