Physicians Assistant - (PA)
StartDate: 04/01/2013Available Shifts: Rotating Shift

The Indian Health Hospital in Rapid City, South Dakota is looking for full time coverage in their Emergency Room. Candidates must be Certified Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants with previous ER experience. The provider will work a rotating schedule with 8 and 12 hour shifts; schedule is made at least a month in advance. The contract begins immediately and will run through December 31, 2013.

A physicians assistant (PA) practices medicine under the supervision of a physician and/or surgeon. In addition to a bachelor's degree, a physicians assistant must complete 2 years of accredited training. They are trained to provide patient care, diagnose and treat individuals with injuries and illnesses, and administer treatment.

Required Qualifications
BLS, ACLS, DEA required
Previous experience in an ER setting required
Must have EMR experience

Preferred Qualifications
Prefer previous Indian Health experience
