Starhotels has appointed Maurizio Redaelli as General Manager of the London complex including The Franklin, The Gore and The Pelham, part of Starhotels Collezione – a collection of Starhotels’ 12 most representative hotels that combine elegance, charm and exceptional service.

Formerly General Manager of 5-stars Castille Paris – Starhotels Collezione from October 2012, Maurizio Redaelli has almost 25 years’ experience in the hospitality industry, with an excellent understanding of the operational and management requirements of running successful hotels. He began his career in the hospitality industry at the Geneva Hotel Management School in Switzerland and from 1996 to 2003 worked at hotels including Hilton Worldwide, Celtic Manor Resort in South Wales and Jolly Hotel St. Ermin in London before working for the Jolly Hotel Group in Paris.

Maurizio Redaelli says: “I am delighted to return to London and to be joining this passionate team and amazing project. I am very much focused on delivering the Starhotels’ Collezione warm and bespoke service by offering unique experiences”.

“Maurizio Redaelli is a confirmed professional with multiple years of international experience in luxury hospitality, many of them spent in our company” says Enzo Casati, Managing Director of Starhotels. “We are confident that his arrival in London will bring such amazing experience to our London properties and a wonderful addition to the hotels’ team”.

About the Gore:

Since 1892, the Gore have been providing guests with understated elegance, the impeccable service of a grand hotel and the familiar intimacy of a London club. The Gore Hotel is as quintessentially English as its near neighbour The Royal Albert Hall: the hotel has won hearts and minds with gracious, personal attention and agreeable luxury that recalls a gentler era and the best traditions of grand hotels.

About the Pelham:

The welcome and familiarity of this luxury London townhouse offers guests the most personalised service. The Pelham brings designer style and home comfort together minutes from Harrods, Hyde Park, the finest museums and shopping.

About the Franklin:

Set in an elegant Victorian building surrounded by the beauty of the private Egerton Gardens, and the perfect counterpoint to the bustling Knightsbridge, Harrods and the Victoria & Albert Museum, the hotel combines the warmth of a private home, the best service of a luxury hotel and Anouska Hempel’s timeless, Italian-influenced design.
