The largest festival anywhere that’s completely dedicated to Cornish food and drink is back again this September.  Prepare to be wowed by a 3-day gastro extravaganza, where over 100 different food experts and chefs gather to celebrate Cornwall’s beautiful bounty and showcase why this popular peninsula has gained such a reputation as the UK’s No. 1 destination for great food and drink.

In a convenient, accessible, all-weather location in the centre of Truro – Cornwall’s only city – the event has become a regular favourite for tens of thousands of people from all over Britain and beyond.

Festival organisers Cornwall Food & Drink are welcoming two new high profile headliners this year – April Bloomfield (Spotted Pig, NYC) and Tom Adams (Pitt Cue, London). These two remarkable chefs have come together to create a new Cornish venture in an old Georgian dairy farm called Coombeshead, near Launceston. They are restoring the original farmhouse into a guesthouse and dining room and will also be using the 66 rolling acres as a working farm. Eventually they hope to create workshops, curing rooms, producer events and general pig-based merriment throughout the year.   They will be joined on stage by Philip Warren, renowned local farmer and master butcher, who supplies meat to many well-known chefs and restaurants in Cornwall and London.

The festival continues to be a FREE event thanks to key sponsor GWR and all the other sponsors committed to promoting and supporting the Cornish food and drink scene.
