Four Seasons Hotel London at Canary Wharf has appointed Lynn Brutman as its new General Manager with immediate effect. Ms Brutman takes over from Michael Purtill who has been appointed General Manager of Four Seasons Hotel Istanbul at Sultanahmet. In her new role, she will oversee all aspects of the 142-bedroom luxury hotel which enjoys a riverside setting in Canary Wharf and boasts striking views of the river Thames and the city beyond.

With over 22 years of hospitality experience, Ms Brutman brings significant management skills to the role, combined with considerable knowledge of the luxury hotels’ market. She joins from Four Seasons Hotel Toronto where as Hotel Manager she played an integral role in the closure of the former Toronto hotel and the opening of the company’s new flagship property in Canada in 2012.

Prior to this Ms Brutman spent four years working as Resort Manager at Four Seasons Resort Whistler where she oversaw the operations for the 273 room resort and its 37 private residences. She has also spent time working as Director of Rooms at both Four Seasons Hotel Miami and Newport Beach and embarked on Four Seasons’ career within the rooms division at The Ritz-Carlton Chicago (A Four Seasons Hotel).

A native of New York, Ms Brutman holds a Bachelor of Science in Hotel Administration from the University of New Hampshire.
