Some of this year's school books, which need to
move to make way for next year's.

Last week's focus was on the master bedroom and bathroom. It was a busy week of camp and vacation bible school, but I said I'd be happy if I made progress on any of the items on my list. Here they are, with my notes in blue:

Take pictures and list my cloth diaper stash to sell. I pulled these out of storage because I had someone interested in them, got them all sorted, and then the person didn't buy them. I wasn't going to pack them all back into storage, so I've been tripping over them in the corner of my room for a couple of months now. It's time to get this done! In fact, I've started. I listed my beloved Little Beetle wool covers on DiaperSwappers.com. Know anyone in need of fluff? Tell them to contact me and I'll send a list of what I've got! ;-) I got several items listed and a couple sold! There's still much more to list, but at least I've gotten started!

Clean off the hotspot that covers the top of the small desk in our room. Didn't get to this. Moving it forward for next time.

The cabinets under the sinks in the master bath. Oh boy. They are in sad shape. They need cleaning out and organizing! I got the cabinet under my sink cleaned out and organized, although I could have done it even more thoroughly. I threw away a boxful of trash: outdated lotions and hair products, old cough drops, old contact and glasses cases, and organized what was left so I can find what I need at least. I still need to purge all the makeup. It looks MUCH better than it did though! The cabinet under the other sink isn't in that bad a shape, although it could use a minor declutter. I'll be coming back to this one again soon.

Now for this week!

Week One: Kitchen/Dining

Week Two: Living Room/Hallway

Week Three: Laundry room, closets, front porch

Week Four: Master bedroom/bathroom & kids' bedrooms/bathroom

Week Five: Desk Day/School area

We have another busy week with vacation bible school again, this time at our home church.  Since there's not too much to do in the school area of the living room right now, I'm going to focus on planning for the new school year and getting organized in that way. With the Dancer starting high school this year, I need to be sure I have all my ducks in a row! That's my sole goal this week: to accomplish some school-related planning and organizing.

What are your goals for this week?
