Tommy Lee Hardin, Cape Fair, MO, son of Walter Alfred and Grace Lorraine “Dutch” (Chastain) Hardin, was born on March 6, 1928 in El Dorado, KS and departed this life on January 25, 2015 at the age of 86.

Tommy was a life-long resident of the area and graduated from Crane High School. He served his country proudly in the United States Marine Corp during World War II. Tommy married Roberta Foster October 10, 1952 and they owned and operated the Skelly Service Station. He farmed, worked at Glen Block, and then as a Walmart greeter until his retirement. Tommy was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.

Tommy was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Mark A. Hardin.

Survivors include: his wife, Roberta Hardin of Cape Fair, MO; one son, Tim Hardin and wife, Deanna of Bolivar, MO; three daughters, Capathia Deal and husband, David of Cape Fair, MO; Debra Bauer and husband, Larry of Kimberling City, MO; and Lesa Scobee and husband, Blaine of Reeds Spring, MO; daughter-in-law, Karen Cutbirth Hardin of Reeds Spring, MO; nine grandchildren, Eli Deal and wife, Amanda; Claire Deal Chapman and husband, Jeremy; Trinity Hardin Pace and husband, Mac; Travis Hardin and wife Kristen; Alysa Hardin Traylor and husband Joel; Kim Hardin Gray and husband, Chris; Christy Hardin; Heather Scobee Bookstaver and husband, Caleb; and Jessica Scobee; and fourteen great-grandchildren; Leila Deal, Nathaniel Deal, Dexter Chapman, Marley Pace, Edward Pace, Tyler Hardin, Kynslee Hardin, Ethan Traylor, Brooke Traylor, Cooper Gray, Bria Gray, Kyle Keith, Allyson Keith, and Noah Hardin.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 29, 2015 from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at the Stumpff Funeral Chapel-South in Kimberling City, MO. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 30, 2015 at Stumpff Funeral Chapel-South in Kimberling City, MO at 2:00 p.m. with Mike Brazle officiating. Burial will be in the Cape Fair Cemetery, Cape Fair, MO. Services are under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home-South.
