The new pedal from Creation Audio Labs is a distortion designed specifically for bassists.
The Grizzly Bass is based on the innovations developed by Creation Audio Labs on the Holy Fire, MW1 and Funkulator pedals, including the analog wave shaping technology that transforms the waveform and generates a distortion effect similar to a tube distortion but without adding any noise or filtering. The pedal responds to you playing attack, so you can take it from a slightly crunch when gently attacking the string to the most growling saturation.
The Grizzly Bass pedal features a clean boost of up to +12dB, the same Contour control as on the Funkulator, a high-cut filter for vintage cab emulation, the Overdrive tube simulation technology and a Distortion hard clipping circuit.
The output is buffered and the pedal is powered by a 9V supply.
The Grizzly Bass will ship in September, you can pre-order it now for $195 at www.creationaudiolabs.com.

The DC resistance of these passive pickups is 18.72k for the neck model and 21.43k for the bridge version.
