The Clinical Education Specialist \(CES\) is responsible for in\-servicing and training our new and existing customers on all Biopsy products\. This includes new product in\-service, follow\-up training, tradeshow support and other educational activities\.

**Duties & Responsibilities:**

_New Product In\-Service_

+ Majority of time spent in conducting training session for surgeons, radiologists, nurses, imaging technologists, sonographers and technical assistants on using the device\(s\)\.

+ Contact new customers within three business days of receipt of notification

+ Discuss critical account information with sales team before all installations

+ Schedule initial in\-service within target timeframe of two to three weeks of install

+ Ensure that new accounts have ordered the necessary products and accessories for a successful install/in\-service and check to confirm receipt at customer site

+ Monitor and discuss with sales team and customer service accounts that are in need of additional training

+ Provide input on educational material and distribute to customer base as needed

+ Field clinical questions from customers when necessary\.

+ Record, communicate and track all visits

+ Update calendar weekly

+ Communicate trends or customer needs to appropriate employee or department

+ Target and eliminate competitive presences in each account

_New Employee Training_

+ Train and educate new sales representatives\.

_Sales Support_

+ Assist with on\-site tradeshow and educational course support

+ Work closely with sales team to support them with data collection, customer feedback and competitive feedback

+ Conduct various sales activities when needed

**Qualifications:**

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily\. The requirements listed below are representative of the basic knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required:

**Education:**

+ AS in Radiology; B\.S\. degree or equivalent experience, B\.A degree preferred

**Experience:**

Three to five years of Clinical training in a medical setting using Ultrasound, Stereotactic \(Mammography\) and/or MRI imaging modalities or equivalent

+ Experience in working directly for a vendor in a clinical support role preferred

**Specialized Knowledge:**

+ Must have strong computer skills \(Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Email\)

**Additional Details:**

+ This position requires regular lifting of an approximately 50 pound piece of equipment

+ Must have ability to enter an MR Suite without risk to personal health

+ Available to travel extensively

+ Valid driver’s license and vehicle available for work use required
