Responsible for production output for the manufacturing of the Diagnostic disposable product lines to the corporate business plan at the Londonderry, NH facility\. Responsible for communicating and ensuring the necessary Manufacturing Engineering support for the disposables product lines and processing equipment\. This position will coordinate and directly influence the cross functional support needed from Quality Assurance, Supply Chain management, Regulatory compliance, facility security, facility maintenance, and environmental health and safety \(EH&S\)\.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
+ Responsible for high quality production output for the Diagnostic Divisions manufacturing of disposables to the corporate business plan
+ Schedule and direct work assignments to plant supervisors, technicians, engineers, machine operators, Quality Control, Supply Chain Management and others to execute the production plans and ensure appropriate staffing
+ Responsible for conformance to training programs related to standard manufacturing practices and procedures including ISO and Hologic specification requirements
+ Coordinate and generate improvements to production processes
+ Assist engineering in the coordination validations and qualifications of new/improved products/processes as well as documentation structure to support new/improved product introductions into manufacturing
+ Review and approval of RCOs affecting disposable manufacturing
+ Establish and assure adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements
+ Provide professional training and growth opportunities to related staff
+ Direct and implement programs of continuous improvement \(Lean, 6 Sigma\)
+ Oversight of cross functional groups located at the plant including facilities, EH&S, Quality Control
+ Other related duties as assigned by supervisor to support business needs
**Qualifications**

+ Exhibits strong communication skills \(verbal and written\)
+ Complete knowledge and understanding of regulations related to FDA registered products, ISO, OSHA and hazardous material handling
+ Ability to think strategically and strong focus on year over year cost reduction improvements
+ Support and encourage companywide engagement initiative
+ Provide goals for plant employees that align with corporate objectives
**Education**
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered
**Experience**
+ Minimum of 10 years of experience managing a multi\-shift disposable and packaging operation of medical device products; high volume filling preferred
+ Demonstrated experience and track record of leading and implementing LEAN improvements in a manufacturing plant
