**Senior Manager Sales Learning and Development (Job Number: 161880)**

**Description**

The Breast & Skeletal Health Solutions Sales Learning and Development Sr. Manager –Screening is responsible for being the division’s field sales performance expert. In this role they will identify, develop and deliver targeted sales training programs and initiatives required to build a high performing team. They will focus predominately on three division competency areas: “Driving Results”, “Business Performance” and “Leads and Develops Others’. This role will:

+ Partner with the Sr. Director Sales Learning and Development and the Director of Sales Learning and Development to understand the division’s strategic and Sales/Marketing goals and how they align to the department’s key result areas.

+ Require a focus on organizational astuteness to influence change and division effectiveness through building strong relationships and collaboration.

+ Be responsible for the field sales coaches in his/her business and work with them to extend the impact Sales Learning and Development has on the behaviors of the field sales organization.

**Duties & Responsibilities:**

+ Supports Driving Results and Division’s Business Performance:

+ Supports and executes against strategic Imperatives and division’s sales plans.

+ Is self-directed in driving to meet and exceed objectives.

+ Collaborates with other Hologic team members to achieve desired sales/marketing goals and outcomes.

+ Identifies best practices and sets high performance standards for self and field team

+ Organizational Astuteness:

+ Learns sales training and coaching trends and best practices.

+ Builds and leverages relationships at all levels and networks internally to achieve desired results.

+ Anticipates and navigates situational resistance to new ideas to gain agreement/acceptance.

+ Influences, Organizes and Communicates for Impact:

+ Conducts needs assessments and field travel to diagnose performance gaps using the division’s sales competencies.

+ Determines what is relevant to different audiences and applies to deliver high impact training plans and sales programs.

+ With coaching, develops self around high impact project management, process skills, and Adult Learning Principles

+ Builds strong relationships with internal team members based on trust and communication.

**Education:**

+ BS/BA degree in business or related field.

**Experience:**

+ Minimum of 3- 5 years’ experience in medical sales to senior level management to include C-level negotiations.

**Specialized Knowledge:**

+ Strategic Selling, Negotiations and Sales Process/Sales Methodology experience with both disposables and capital equipment devices a plus. As is prior training or teaching experience

+ Learning design expertise.

+ Adept at forecasting and managing expense budgets, and project management expertise in a sales environment.

+ Excellent communication, influencing and organizational skills.

+ Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.

+ Experience leading change initiatives.

+ Experience working with all levels of an organization.

+ 3- 5 years’ sales experience within the medical products industry, preferably in medical disposables and capital equipment.

+ 2-3 years’ sales training or learning and development experience a plus.
