Walking into the ring with Justin and Lil Wayne, Floyd definitely had Hollywood on his side for his Sept. 14 welterweight title match against Saul “Canelo” Alvarez — and even more stars showed their support during and after the fight on Twitter!

Money Team forever! Floyd Mayweather Jr. continued on his quest towards becoming the best boxer ever on Sept. 14, extending his undefeated streak after an easy bout against Saul “Canelo” Alvarez. Floyd’s bombastic personality and pure dominance have always brought the stars out and everyone from Justin Bieber to Eva Longoria were raving once again during and after the fight about their favorite boxer.

Justin Bieber & Lil Wayne Join Floyd Mayweather Jr.’s Entourage

Justin was pretty much a part of Floyd’s entourage the entire day leading up to the fight. Early in the day he tweeted a picture of himself and Floyd hanging out. Justin then joined the boxer during his entrance into the ring, and also posed for pictures with the title belts after Floyd won the fight. And of course the Biebs showed his love on Twitter: “#MoneyTeam #thechamp #undefeated,” he first tweeted before then lamenting that Floyd hadn’t been a unanimous winner, saying, “Who calls a draw? That guy was watching the wrong fight. @FloydMayweather is the greatest. #MoneyTeam still #undefeated.”

Lil Wayne was also part of the Money Team on Sept. 14, again rapping a song for Floyd’s walk up to the ring. After the fight Weezy tweeted, “Proud to be a part of the legacy of one of the greatest athletes that ever lived. & that’s the legacy of the great Floyd “$” Mayweather TMT!”

Eva Longoria, Kat Dennings & More Stars Tweet About Mayweather Vs. Alvarez

But many other stars who didn’t have inside access to the fight were also in awe of Floyd’s dominance. “Dang! Mayweather doesn’t even look tired!!,” Eva Longoria tweeted during the fight.

Actor John Cusack tweeted, “floyd mayweather makes his championship fights look like a sparring session- best defensive fighter that ever lived- maybe.”

Kat Dennings clearly bet big on Floyd, because after the fight she posted, “LOOKS LIKE SOMEBODY KNOWS WHAT SHE’S TALKING ABOUT #Theone #Mayweather.” Sway had a similar reaction, writing, “I told you so! He’s the greatest!! #Mayweather. #TheOne.”

Michelle Rodriguez tweeted, “I sometimes question why I ever had a doubt mayweather would kill it tonight…guess everyone likes a challenge.”

And Joe Rogan posted, “Mayweather is a real master. He might be the best boxer of all time. That was an artistic performance.”

If you aren’t on Team Mayweather by now you better get on it because that bandwagon is full of big stars. It’s true that everyone likes an underdog story, but at the same time, everyone clearly likes to watch a big personality effortlessly destroy his competition.
