Hotel Boss Review Summary
Hotel Boss is one of the latest additions in the city centre, and offers budget-conscious travellers an affordable choice without compromising on full hotel services and facilities.
Nestled right in the middle of Singapore’s cultural enclaves, Kampung Glam (Arab Street) and Little India, Hotel Boss is an ideal spot for business and leisure travellers who want to soak in vibrant local cultures while being a heartbeat away from the city’s main shopping and financial districts.
There is a wide range and quantity of rooms (1,500 guest rooms) designed with a contemporary feel. One of the major downsides is that the tiny standard rooms could feel a little claustrophobic for those staying more than a few nights. The city-view rooms are a different story, especially those that come with a balcony.

Hotel Boss Location
Located on Jalan Sultan Road, Hotel Boss is a mere 5-minute walk from Lavender MRT Station and a 10-minute walk from Bugis MRT Station. Right in the heart of both Little India and Kampung Glam, the hotel is close to the numerous bars, restaurants, and local eateries as well as the city’s hippest cafes.
For downtown shopping and business, Orchard Road and the Marina Bay Financial district are also easily accessible by road and train.

Hotel Boss features 11 types of rooms from Standard twin, double, triple, and Premier rooms with balconies. Rooms come with complimentary WIFI.
The Standard rooms are on the tiny side, and are frankly more suitable for single travellers. Ask for the rooms on the higher floors, especially the Superior and Premier rooms that come with balconies, for a great city view.
Hotel Boss Facilities and Pool

The hotel has a large outdoor pool and lounging area that provides a pleasant respite from the heat. The gym overlooks the pool and has decent equipment for a nice workout.
Another plus point is the self-service Laundromat. Laundry services in hotels are usually overpriced and Singapore generally doesn’t have an abundance of Laundromats in every corner. A self-service one on location certainly is of great help.
Hotel Boss Service
Service and house-keeping are adequate overall. But, the hotel is pretty no-frills after all; so don’t expect any five-star service.
Hotel Boss Price
The biggest draw point for Hotel Boss is definitely the price. Ranging from less than SGD 100 for the standard rooms during non-peak seasons to about SGD 300 for the family rooms during high seasons, Hotel Boss prices are hard to beat for the location and quality.
