Madrid City Break
Well today I've put together a fantastic deal using Trivago and Skyscanner for a nice, cheap Madrid city break that should suit all budgets! You'll get return flights from Dublin to Madrid, and the hostel's central location means that the journey to and from the city centre shouldn't take more than around half an hour should you take the train. Easy!
If you want a place that's close to all the action then this hostel will be absolutely perfect for you. The JQ Madrid 1 is just around the corner from Puerta del Sol, which also means that you'll have tons of metro connections close by too! The hostel is a great option for those looking to save some pennies, but not give up on too many luxuries like you'd might expect!
Plaza Mayor is a great place to start the sightseeing, and there should definitely be at least one museum on your list - the Prado National Museum is one I really recommend. And if you want a break from the hustle and bustle of city life then you'll be well-catered for with massive parks such as Parque del Retiro, where you'll also find stunning palaces,and you'll even find a real Egyptian temple in Paque de Oeste. Not something you'd normally expect! ;)
