WASHINGTON, D.C. – Tyler Wilson, president and CEO of AAHomecare, will leave the association in September, when his employment contract expires, according to a press release. It’s a mutual decision between Wilson, who joined the organization in 2006, and members of AAHomecare’s executive committee. “Tyler led the association through one of the most challenging periods in the history of the industry by steadying it, reaching out to organizations with similar interests, strengthening the association’s financial position and increasing its focus on the numerous challenges in Washington,” stated Joel Marx, volunteer board chairman at AAHomecare, and chairman of Cleveland-based Medical Service Company. Wilson’s departure is the third in recent weeks: Michael Reinemer and Walt Gorski have also left the association. A committee consisting of members of the executive committee, and led by past AAHomecare Board Chairman A.J. Filippis, will conduct a nationwide search for a replacement, the release noted.
