Vans have had a new lease of life over the last few months; they no longer connote images of our bygone Myspace days. Slip-on pumps have seen the feet of many a fashionista recently, from bloggers to celebs; they look like they’re here to stay for the summer. It’s refreshing to see such a statement, nostalgic (yes, 2006 can be nostalgic too!) shoe being worn in many different styles, not just with skinny jeans and a nonchalant attitude.
Vans have launched a range of limited edition printed slip-on pumps, available for sale at SXSW this spring and alongside this, they’ve released prints on other classic designs. The collection is collaboration between Vans and various bands, such as Rise Against, Motorhead, Bad Brains and Circle Jerks, a perfect partnership for a music festival release.
If you have your eye on any of these exclusive designs, you’ll need to snap them up while you can, with only 100 pairs of each design in circulation, they’re sure to sell out fast. And never fear, if you aren’t attending SXSW in Austin, a small number of pairs will be available to buy online at vans.com on March 13.
