Web Accessibility Techniques and Testing – Canberra
Event on 2014-05-29 09:00:00
Objectives
This popular one day course reflects the emergence of new technologies, testing approaches and adherence to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.0 (WCAG 2.0), as required by the Australian Government’s Web Accessibility National Transition Strategy (NTS).
Participants will learn about common accessibility problems and practical techniques to confidently address and test for issues on their website or within a web application. Based on WCAG 2.0 Level AA standards, this workshop demonstrates design and code solutions to achieve accessibility conformance. Best practice techniques that help an organisation create a richer user experience beyond straight technical conformance are also demonstrated throughout the course.
