Experts from around the world have met in the UAE to discuss a framework for governments to prioritise happiness as key measure of progress and development.
The first Global Dialogue on Happiness took place on Saturday, driven by the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
It featured over 300 scientists, specialists and decision-makers.
To underscore the commitment to aligning policies with the well-being of people, the UAE has created an official cabinet-level position focused specifically on happiness.
