Today we're going from Island Style to touches of Fall...how's that for blogger ADD? I love Fall, but I always have a hard time saying goodbye to Summer. I tend to hold on a little longer to the casual style, and a little tighter to the lazy days...wearing my flip-flops until the last possible second, and denying the pumpkin spice lattes swirling around me.
But eventually I get there, and once I pull on the boots and scarves, it's Fall-time! So when Marty at A Stroll Through Life asked me to participate in her Fall Home Tours, I hesitated for a second, then jumped at the chance to usher in Fall. The allure of boots and lattes was just too strong!

I don't change up too much around the house, and save the major holiday decorating for Christmas (see our previous Christmas Home Tours here), but I do like to swap out pillows and throws, and bring in Fall foliage and flowers.

As soon as the temps drop, it becomes all about the comfort food around here, too. I've already had requests for my easy 2-Ingredient Pumpkin Bread, and Crack Bark. The kids love making these caramel-drizzled apples...I standby with extra napkins. And hope for leftovers.

I started playing with a classic equestrian theme for this year's table...I love the fresh green and woven texture combo. Quite the opposite of last year's glam table of hot pink and gold!

I attended a blogger event this Summer hosted by Home Depot (see what I packed & wore here), and these were our name tags. So clever, right?! Too bad I'll be the only one at the table with a place card. ;)

I cut a hole in the top of my DIY Studded Craft Pumpkin (from my previous Hitchcock-Inspired Mantel), and set a vase of flowers in it for a fun and festive centerpiece idea.
