Sales/Key Account Manager – Laguna

Salary Offer: Negotiable

Location: Laguna, Philippines

MAIN DUTIES:

1. Assist the Commercial Director in identifying, developing and executing business opportunities to the Philippine and/or Southeast Asia region.

2. To assist the Commercial Director in developing plans and strategies.

3. To support and mange development or operation projects designated by the Marketing and Sales Director.

4. To keep track with the current developments and activities of the beverage and packaging industries and the competition.

5. To explore, develop and open up Philippine and/or Southeast Asia markets.

6. To increase sales volume and generate maximum profitability and values for the Company.

7. To meet and/or exceed annual sales target assigned by the Marketing and Sales Director.

8. To ensure with utmost effort injury-free safety for all Alcoa employees and contractors in our development activities.

9. To manage the Sales department of Alcoa CSI Philippines and establish objectives and prioritization of activities.

10. To be accountable for maximum customers’ satisfaction on the Company’s products, quality and services.

11. Upon request, as time permits, undertake special assignment given by the Marketing and Sales Director in support of the other Alcoa business activities in the region or outside the region.

12. Hire and train qualified sales representatives with developed problem solving skills that enable assessment and appropriate reaction to customer requirements (whether standard product requests or emergency assistance).

13. Recommend proper staffing levels to adequately cover customer support needs and easy access for customers.

14. Provide feedback to the organization regarding customer needs and the prioritization of required actions.

15. Act as a liaison with certain customers and soft drink parent company representatives in the areas of marketing (national promotional programs) and product qualifications. Makes customer visits as appropriate.

16. Provide all sales data accumulation, tracking and reporting of forecast and plan, customer amortization and rebate information and other information that impacts financials, i.e., customer price changes, promotions and claim information.

17. Provide input and support on a routine basis for customer satisfaction efforts, including the annual planning process and deployment of priority sub-milestones.

18. Act as a team leader of customer complaint effort accountable for designing and implementing a comprehensive customer feedback process and system.

19. Lead empowerment training effort of all front-line employees – accountable for developing and executing training matrix and recommending required actions to further empower customer contact employees, enabling increased customer satisfaction.

20. Provide routine customer requirement information that defines product requirements and supports efforts linked to strategic analysis actions.

21. Perform other duties as may be assigned by the Commercial Director.

This position requires extensive product and service expertise as well as management skills.
