Happo-en (Minato Ward, Tokyo) is not only a wedding hall, but also a restaurant. This large Japanese-style garden has a history of some 400 years. Entry to the garden is free. Between May to June, tsutsuji and satsuki azaleas are in full bloom. This spring, symbolizing Japanese culture and craftsmanship, the temporary tea room “Mujoan” was reconstructed (it appears on an irregular basis). The Japanese Culture Experience Program provides visitors with a chance to directly experience tea ceremony, flower arrangement, or Noh theatre in a casual setting – visitors can choose two of these options.
