Bengaluru: Love rumors of Bollywood actors Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra are doing the rounds since past few months but both have always maintained to keep mum on their relationship status. When the same question was yet again put up to Alia, she was unhesitant to tag the ‘Kapoor & Sons’ co-star as a ‘close friend’.
Alia Bhatt and Sidharth were in the city to promote their upcoming flick Kapoor & Sons directed by Shakun Batra. They were accompanied with the Pakistani actor Fawad Khan, also a co-star in the film.
When Alia was asked about the rumors linking her with Sidharth, the Highway actress said, “I have made it very clear that he (Sidharth) is a very close friend of mine and shall remain as such.”
Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra recently did a hot photoshoot which is apparently considered as a promotional gimmick for their upcoming film.
Kapoor & Sons will hit the theatres on March 18.
